Terry Black’s Barbecue Austin
Terry Black’s Barbecue was founded in 2014 by BBQ cooks and twin brothers Michael and Mark Black with the help of their sister, Christina.
After growing up in the barbecue capital of Texas, Lockhart, and learning the tricks of the trade from their father, Terry, the trio opened up their first location in the heart of Austin off Barton Springs Road.
Terry Black’s Barbecue Dallas
Terry Black’s Barbecue Dallas was the family’s second location opening in 2019 in the historic Deep Ellum neighborhood.
This space offers private indoor event rooms, an outdoor patio, a rooftop deck, and a full bar.
Terry Black’s Barbecue Lockhart
Terry Black’s Barbecue Lockhart was the family’s third location and opened in 2022.
Coming back home to open a barbecue restaurant barring our name was a dream come true and we couldn’t be more excited to come back to where it all started. A true full circle moment in life it was.

Opened in 2024, Terry Black’s Barbecue Fort Worth is the family’s fifth location. The restaurant, adjacent to Fort Worth’s Cultural District, offers a spacious outdoor patio, bar, and eye-catching neon artwork.
Big Bob’s Bowling and Billiards, opened in 2026, is a four-lane throwback with a modern edge, blending bowling, billiards, and a full bar under neon lights and low-lit ambiance, where dive bar grit meets retro charm.
